Thummy Jacks Sheep Station is the name of the property that Barnard Stimpson owned near Carcoar NSW.
Barnard was a convict that later went on to become the mayor of Carcoar.
The property is currently the site of the Dairy Park shearing shed and shearers quarters.
History of Dairy Park shearers quarters. They consists of the Mandurama Billiards Hall moved to its present site in the late 1950’s, after being used for a car garage at the old Dairy Park house.
The quarters have an electric stove, fridge and microwave and there is gas and electric heating. A gas BBQ ready for your use.
A television equipped with a set top box is also provided.
There is a swimming pool and Tennis court for your use at the main house.
Enjoy the quite surrounds of farm life.
The quarters are next to Thummbies creek which in 2006 was fenced and planted to 5800 native trees.
Sheep and Cattle graze freely in close proximity.
A camp fire area is provided to enable you to try your hand at fire side cooking! Or at least roast a Marshmallow.
